At Coach Cooper's camps kids are encouraged to be champions through their participation in a variety of games and activities centered around baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer and track and field. We practice drills, team building, game scenarios and positive sportsmanship. Participants gain invaluable benefits of sports as well as excitement about being outdoors and active.
CIT's will be given responsibilities such as setting up and breaking down equipment, leading games or playing all time pitcher/quarterback etc, and helping to ensure all campers are participating and enjoying their day at camp.
The camp dates are Monday through Friday June 17 to August 16 starting at 9am and ending at 3pm each day. The camp fee for CITs is $275 per week. No camp the week of July 1-5.
Camp is located at 333 S. Barrington Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90049 utilizing outdoor and indoor facilities both at the Barrington Recration Center and also across the street at the fields of the Barrington Veterans Park.
CITs should wear athletic clothes and shoes including socks, have a hat available and a healthy dose of sunscreen applied. CITS should also bring their own water bottles, lunch and optional snacks.
Due to recent concerns of communicable diseases including Covid-19, all campers must review a provided checklist for self-reported symptoms. If the CIT or household member answers yes to any symptoms, they should not attend camp.
